I’m Anjali (un-juh-lee).

Hello!

For the longest time, I wanted to be a pediatrician, but then I watched one episode of the Carrie Diaries and an idea was planted in my head that I wanted to pursue fashion. More importantly, I am scared of blood and needles, so something medical probably wouldn’t have worked out. Even before being inspired by a girl fashionably running around New York, fashion became this suit of armour for me at a young age. When I wasn’t feeling good about myself, I realized how dressing up could totally change my mind and boost my confidence. Now, I could spend hours destroying my closet, putting together outfits, with nowhere to go. It fuels me. In trying to cover my insecurities, I uncovered a passion of mine.

My Interests

I have recently graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University as a Fashion Merchandising major with a daVinci certificate in Product Innovation. Fashion made me realize that I’m a creative and I want work in creative spaces in the future. My interests include buying, styling, graphic design, branding, and social media. I am passionate about how creativity can tell a story. It’s fulfilling to me to help people find the confidence to express themselves, whether that be through fashion or any other avenue.
